Randhir Kapoor is the eldest son of Raj
Kapoor . Today he is the studio head of RK Films, the
film production house started by his legendary father. Although
he has taken part in a relatively small amount of films by
Bollywood standards, somewhere around 40 to date (This is
an industry where an actor can appear in 100 to 200 plus films
in a fruitful career), Randhir is actually one of the most
influential Bollywood personalities in the industry.
He has worked as an actor, a film director, a film producer,
a Bollywood studio head, he married a Bollywood starlet, Babita,
and popularly today his most notable achievement is as the
father of Bollywood's most famous sisters, Kareena and Karisma
Kapoor.
Randhir Kapoor as the head of the RK banner is also the
holder of the legacy that is Raj Kapoor. One part of RK Studios
has been converted into a museum with memorabilia from the
films of Raj Kapoor.
