Made in 1965 "Waqt" was Yash Chopra's third film as a director. The movie was conceived and produced by Yash's elder brother B.R. Chopra under the "B.R. Films" banner and was B.R. Films first color production. In "Waqt" Yash Chopra formed his 'style' that he was to term 'Glamorous Realism', and a film 'look' and romantic attitude that was to set him apart as a master of Indian popular cinema.
